My Story

I found myself immersed in the world of hair from the very young age of 16. Born in Italy & raised in the UK, it was through the world of hair that led me to develop and share my passion for education, which has seen me develop an international career spanning beyond the UK to Europe, South America, the United States, Canada, Russia, South East Asia, Egypt & India.

How long have you been a hairdresser? I have been hairdressing for 40 years and have been working in the education field of hairdressing for 30+ years.

Why did you want to become a hairdresser? I never wanted to be a hairdresser originally. I actually studied electronics but could not find work at the time. I had a cousin who had a salon and the opportunity arose for a position there. I soon found my passion working in the creative and fast paced environment of a salon. Through hairdressing I realized it was possible to impact people’s lives through a simple haircut. Seeing the effect my work could have on a client's confidence and perception of themselves was second to none and I still love it to this day.

What are your key career achievements? Having spearheaded to the top of the hairdressing industry I have extensive experience as an Educational Director, Art Director, Creative Director and International Consultant for renowned companies such as Vidal Sassoon, Suki’s, Arum, Toni & Guy, Keune, TIGI to name a few. I recently worked within Regis UK as Creative and Educational Director where I worked on building and leading creative teams, developing educational programs and collaborating on set both behind and in front of the camera.

Where may I have seen your work? I’ve had an extensive amount of work published in major industry and consumer magazines and was named North American Men’s Hairstylist of the Year for 1996 and 2000. I have also frequently worked with the MTV Music Awards in Barcelona, and with various London Fashion Weeks, including partnering with Wella, L’Oreal, Fudge and Debenhams Press Shows. I have also worked with various celebrities including TV presenters Emma Willis and Caroline Flack.

Why do you have a passion for hair? I love being able to envision a style or a look and bring it to life. Every hair style or cut is personal to the individual and that’s what makes hairdressing so exciting. I’m still passionate about the industry today as I was when I first started and the people I meet and work with every day give me the inspiration to succeed.

Why would I want to work with you? After years of travelling the world and working on international stages, I have evolved my passion for hair and fashion by entering the world of editorial and advertising for print and television. I believe I am a natural leader and inspiring creative team player coupled with the ability to adapt and work under high pressure conditions. With experience of creating educational programs for various established international brands and salons I can bring a new vision and strategy to any environment.
